There are lumber traders, and there are lumbermen. Saydina co-founder Joseph Sayegh is a second-generation lumberman committed to bringing the finest hardwoods and softwoods to distributors around the world. Sayegh’s heritage, combined with the global management experience of co-founder Michael Rendina, allows Saydina to bring a unique passion and professionalism to the lumber industry.
Sayegh began his career in lumber at just eight years old, when he began traveling to his father’s mills in South America, and spent many summers at their family’s eucalyptus plantation: the first of its kind in Paraguay.
Informed by his father’s success in selling directly to the United States’ two largest home centers and the largest lumber and paper products distributor in the country, Sayegh knows first-hand what it takes to source and provide lumber on an international scale. Rendina’s extensive experience in managing global business processes and border-spanning relationships allows Saydina to bring the best possible product and service to customers on five continents.
In addition to their complementary professional skills, Sayegh and Rendina are lifelong friends, and they chose to combine their own last names to create the name Saydina. You’ll feel this genuine spirit of personal commitment in every transaction with Saydina, LLC.
